I'm a dad, husband, techie, and more. I've been a techie for as long as I can remember.
I'll always remember the day my uncle showed me how to build a computer. Soon after, I
was at computer shows buying parts and learning everything I could. I should've bought Nvidia
stock with that graphics card… oh well. Computer hardware was my life until I first saw a data
warehouse. I'm still hooked! Learning SQL and Python were a huge moments in my career. I was
blown away by all the possibilities.
Now, I lead an Operations & Technology team at Citibank. With my team, we manage enterprise SaaS
platforms for Citi's Community Investing & Development department. The department invests in local
communities. It's my dream job - working with technology and giving back to the community!
I am an avid reader, The New York Times and Harvard Business Review are my preferred subscriptions.
However, I have a strong preference for paperback books. Perhaps one day I will transition to a Kindle.
Two books that I highly recommend are Atomic Habits and Think and Grow Rich.
In my free time, I love being outdoors (hiking, surfing, biking), playing piano, and reading. I live for outdoor
family vacations. Places like Yosemite, Patagonia, and Costa Rica are some of my favorites.
